Prefabricated Construction Risks: A Holistic Exploration through Advanced Bibliometric Tool and Content Analysis

Prefabricated construction (PC) offers advantages to the architecture, engineering, and (AEC) industry such as quality production, fast project completion, low waste output, high environmental sensitivity, security. Although PC has several advantages, knowledge gaps persist, necessitating a comprehensive bibliometric study. This research adopts holistic approach, combining qualitative (systematic literature review) quantitative (bibliometric analysis) methods assess current state of prefabricated risks (PCRs) identify trends. Unlike previous PCRs studies, our capitalizes on analysis capabilities Bibliometrix R-tool. We introduce innovative measures, h-index, thematic mapping, trend topic analysis, deepen understanding landscape. Moreover, this study explores intellectual structure PCR through keyword cluster evaluation, providing valuable insights into scientific collaborations, dissemination. In study, following systematic review understand existing knowledge, R-studio package is used map field, in analyze involves 150 articles field PCRs, with data obtained from Web Science spanning 2000 2023. The findings analyses reveal that studies were divided four different clusters: management, programming, logistics, supply chain. Additionally, themes integration Building Information Management (BIM), barriers, stakeholders also explored. indicate growing awareness particularly specific areas performance, stands out for its unique methods, analytical use specialized software. It provides suggestions future studies.
